1. What M·O provides
McCarthy-O'Sullivan ("M·O", "we") provides browser-based tools for construction professionals. Free tools may be used without charge; paid features, if any, are described at the point of purchase.
2. Not engineering services
M·O tools present typical approaches, standard calculations, and suggestions. They are not engineering services, do not constitute professional advice, and do not replace the review, judgment, seal, or stamp of a licensed engineer or the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. You are responsible for verifying every output before relying on it.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or others.
4. Your files stay yours
Tools that process files do so in your browser. We do not receive, store, or claim any rights in your project files, schedules, or drawings.
5. Availability and changes
Tools are provided "as is" and may change or be withdrawn. We work to keep them available and correct but do not guarantee either.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, M·O is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on tool output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
